Duties/Responsibilities
- Working with the Test team, R&D, Software, Systems Engineering and Quality, document and execute test strategies, protocols, and reports that prove our systems are safe, effective, and reliable
- Turn requirements into clear, traceable, real-world test cases (and help improve those requirements when they’re unclear)
- Test early and often - on full systems, robotic arms, set-up joints, HW/SW integrations
- Partner with mechanical, electrical, software, robotics, human factors, and quality engineers to push testing limits through edge-case, fault-injection, and simulated use
- Investigate failures, perform root cause analysis, and verify fixes work effectively
- Help build and improve test infrastructure, tools, and processes as the company grows
- Support design verification, system validation, and regulatory submissions with thoroughly detailed documentation
- Ensure Verification Plans, Protocols and Reports meet US FDA requirements
- Work with test team in a Continuous Integration/Continuous Test (CI/CT) environment for streamlined verification processes

◈ 경력 요건

- Relevant experience with complex motor-controlled assemblies or robotics, embedded systems, hardware-in-the-loop testbeds and performance testing of systems
- Comfort working across hardware + embedded software + system integration.
- Experience testing user interfaces and how humans interact with machines
- Ability to write clear, detailed Verification and Test Plans, Protocols and Reports

Preferred Skills/Abilities
- Working knowledge of international safety and performance standards such as IEC 60601/80601, IEC 61508, IEC 10218, IEC 26262
- Strong scheduling and program management skills
- Automated test scripting capability
- Hardware/Software/System debugging, root cause analysis
- Experience in a medical device or a comparable regulated environment*
* Comparable experience in a safety-related regulated industry such as automotive, aerospace, rail, or industrial robotics may be acceptable.

Education and Experience
- BS in Engineering (Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Biomedical, Robotics, or similar)
- 8+ years testing complex, integrated systems (medical devices a big plus)

English Proficiency
- Must be able to read, write, revise, and manage controlled documents written primarily in English, and communicate reasonably with Korean and US colleagues. Candidates may be asked to complete a short English document review or writing task during the interview process
